From small beginnings, we now ship up to 60 horses at any one time, in and out of the country. We are committed and passionate about horses and the people who own them. Regular trips to clients, colleagues, the department of agriculture, Customs and Excise, quarantine and the airport are merely part of the organisational process in pulling it all together.
Candice was born in Pretoria, South Africa, and started riding competitively from a very young age. She has held the title of South African Dressage Champion at Grand Prix level, won the FEI Dressage World Challenge and was ranked number 1 in South Africa with her imported mare Filina. She is currently still competitive in dressage. In addition to a modest livery yard in the heart of Kyalami, Candice also has a small stud breeding with PRE horses (pure Spanish horses).
Candice has historically been involved in the equine fraternity. After qualifying in a Bachelor of Science from the University of Witwatersrand, she became a full time dressage instructor, teaching both locally and internationally. She has supported various development programmes for the growth of the sport, and has been active on many equine related committees, as well as regularly contributing towards local animal welfare organization. Due to her integral association to horses her entire life, Candice’s primary focus is always the welfare of the horses in her care.
Candice has been in the shipping industry since 2000, moving horses worldwide and is passionate about her business. Her head office is located in Kyalami, Gauteng.
