Upskilling Our Team, The Hobday Way

At Hobday Equestrian Enterprises, we believe that proper horse care starts with the people working closest to them, the grooms. They’re at the heart of what we do every day, and we’re proud to invest in their growth.

Recently, we welcomed three new grooms to our Kempton Park Quarantine team, all local South Africans or legal permit holders, who successfully completed their training under the guidance of our incredible Quarantine Manager. They’ve worked hard, asked questions, paid attention to the small things and are now ready to take on the responsibility of caring for our clients’ horses with confidence and care.

The training is practical, with one-on-one guidance and real experience. Our goal is to make sure every groom who joins our team is comfortable, capable, ready for the job and fully prepared to handle the horses in our care.

We’re excited about developing our team and opening doors for those who are willing to learn and grow. It’s about giving them the right tools and support, while making sure our horses continue to receive top level care from a team we trust.

We’re proud of the team we’ve built and even prouder to be growing it the right way, one skilled groom at a time.
